Between March and late June, four different corners of the city and its immediate ring picked up new anchors. A James Beard nominated chef opened at Fairfax Corner. A family-run Tex-Mex kitchen took a Braddock Road storefront. The county's free summer concert series added a stop inside Mosaic District. The Old Town Saturday Market started its 2026 run on the second Saturday in May. None of these are secrets. Stitching them into one weekend is the part worth doing.
